What's happening with the Calgary Islamic Chamber in 2014-2015

CICI Networking Reception Nov 19, 2014, 6pm

The Calgary Islamic Chamber Institute is hosting a networking reception for ALL Calgarians to increase your contacts among the Muslim community and learn about the work of the Calgary Islamic Chamber.

You will get tips on small and large business loans, real estate as well as learn about success stories of local & international peace initiatives. You'll learn more about some new and soon to be released Islamic Investment products from Canada's mainstream banking industry, and the important role of mentorship by our members in preventing violent extremism and improving our world for everyone. This year our Chamber has become one of Calgary's most respected and referred to Muslim communities, because it includes all of us and it's growing!

This event will also recognize the contributions of the Calgary Islamic Chamber's Program Director, Saima Jamal, who is the recipient of the 2014 YMCA Peace Medal "Community Initiative by an individual" award on November 19, 2014.

This interesting combination of business and community development event will feature the following speakers:

Dr David Liepert - Calgary Islamic Chamber

Mohamed El-Rafih - Youth Mentorship

Saima Jamal - Calgary Peace Initiatives Success Stories
Jorg Ostrowski - Silk Route to Peace in Iran

Taleb Assef - Real Estate
